Offered Here is a fine pair of antique circa 1920s or earlier Heavy cast metal bronze finished bookends. Each features an Angel and Fairy type figures. This could be an antique Greek mythology statue of Cupid & Psyche but the Fairy wings and fig leaf have me wondering. The heavy casting is very well done and I will guarantee these are ANTIQUE bookends. The only markings are at the base on the backs #511. They have the original green felt bottoms. 5 3/4″ wide by 2 1/4″ deep and 4 1/2 in height. The pair weighs a very substantial 4 1/2 pounds before packing. There is no major damage to this antique set. There is some slight spotting to the finish and they could use a good dusting or cleaning. Please view and enlarge photos to further aid in description.
