Nice pair of vintage art deco design wooden bookends with beautiful metal copies of the Stutz Bearcat Sun God radiator cap. These are lovely with original patina, they are well made & heavy at 2 lbs 5 ounces each. I believe they originally had a plaque on the front that gave information about the them & I did not attempt to clean these or do anything to them, they are in found condition. Each measures approximately 5 1/2″ tall in total height and the base is 3 3/4″ square. PLEASE VIEW PHOTOS CAREFULLY. The wood is in fairly good shape, some wear and discoloration & there is one nick in the back bottom edge/corner of one. I noticed when photographying them that if a good amount of force or pressure is put on the metal head it can move/slide from the wood base. The head on the left side has a mark on it’s cheek, a crack at the top of it’s nose and a tiny dent in the top of the bridge of the nose. The head on the right has two slight cracks at the side of the helmet, at the same location on either side of it’s helmet. There is also an odd small circle between the chin & bottom lip on that same head – please see last photo.
