Here we have a superb pair of French Art Deco Bookends in patinated spelter and signed by M. They measure about 5 1/2 inches high and the bases measure 3 1/4 inches by 5 1/4 inches. Note the separate brass reins. Each is marked “FRANCE” on the side and one is signed M. Leducq on the top rear. The horses are in very nice condition showing no damage or wear except a little where the reins would rub. One base has a small chip and the hose on it is slightly loose but in no danger of coming off. A beautiful and hard to find pair.
