Heavy ballast -filled bookends with polychromed painted Bronze Clad finish, featuring two figural cockatoo parrot birds perched on top of the slightly opened books. The front covers of the volumes have an impressed medallion globe with the typography’Atlas of the World’, below. Set of bookends is in good condition considerate of age with no chips, cracks or restoration; as shown. There are a couple of small shallow indentations to one side/bottoms of spine; as shown. Bottom felt is missing. Bookends measure 9 1/2″ tall X 4 1/8″ long X 3 3/8 wide. Heavy in weight, about 5 pounds each, unpacked.
