Vintage “The Geisha Girl” bookends, solid cast metal, unsigned but most likely Pompeian Bronze, art deco 1920s. Beautiful and a rare pair of bookends depicting Geishas entertaining/ playing the shamisen/dancing against a charming Japanese garden background with cherry blossoms, a pagoda. Titled : “The Geisha Girl”. Measures : 4 w x 4.25 h x 1.625 inches deep, Two bookends total : 1.35kg or 3lbs. In great condition with no damage. Some wear to the gold gilding. Others included “The Quest”, “Fantasie”, “Tudor”, “Madrigale”, and “Reverie” Each pair has the title inscribed on the back. The Pompeian Bronze Co.
