A classic pair of Art Deco bookends with penguins. The heavy molded pair of gray metal bookends in the design of penguins with a gold patina. The penguins have Art Deco backdrops and rest on a stepped base. The bases have old gray felt. 4 1/4″ (10.8 cm) long x 4 ¼” (10.8 cm) wide x 5 1/8 (13.0 cm) tall. Weighs 4 lbs 3 oz (1900 g). The bookends have significant patina loss from oxidization and time. There is a small crack in one base behind a penguin’s tail. One penguin is a little loose from the base and wobbles a bit; the other is nice and tight. The heads of the screws are poking through the gray felt on the bases.
