Vintage Nuart bronzed metal bookends of Roycroft founder Elbert Hubbard who was a major influence in the American Arts & Crafts Movement of the late 19th-early 20th century. These bookends date from the early 1930’s and are cast in metal with a lush bronze finish. Each is identical, depicting Hubbard sitting on top of a pile of books and reading a large folio. The undersides are hollow. Each stands 6.5″ tall by 5.25″ wide by 4 deep, and each weighs almost 3.5 lbs.
