French Antique ART DECO Bookends Gilt Bronze Mother Duck Marble Base Pair 1930s. A beautiful pair of French Art Deco bookends on a marble base. They have a very sweet depiction of a mother duck with her baby ducks. The duck figures are made of bronze that have been gilt and they have a terracotta colored marble base. These bookends were made around the 1930’s, in France. Height: about 4 1/2 inch / 11.5 cm. About 2 7/8 inch / 7.2 cm. Length base: about 5 1/2 inch / 14 cm. Some very minimal wear/patina of the duck figures and some minimal wear on the marble bases, see the photos for details. We are based in France and offer a lot of European antique and vintage items.
