Circa 1950s Heavy Bronze and Brass Deer Bookends. This pair feature a young deer or fawn in a resting posture on a solid Bronze finish rectangular base. Each bookend measures 6″ in length by 3″ wide and stand 6 in height. The pair weighs over 7 pounds and will hold a substantial stack of books. Gorgeous Art Deco style that will go with any Contemporary Mid Century Modern Decor. This company was founded in 1911 and they started producing bookends in the 1950s.
