Item listed is Art Deco Mouflon Ram Bookend Pair Bronze Le Verrier Marble Base S. Condition: This set of bookends are used and in good condition. There is a crack in the metal along base near the hooves of the ram on one bookend, about 1″ to 2″ long, see picture #10. There are some dings/ indentions on both of the the rams horns. They are mounted on marble slabs marked S. Measurements: 6 5/8″ Tall, Base 5 1/2″ x 4 1/4. Weight: 7.2 lbs. Modeled on Max Le Verrier Mouflons, they are bronze sculptures of mouflon rams on rectangular marble bases. The marble bases are marked on the bottom S. The original felt pads have been removed. Unsigned; From my research when they were produced a few of the prestigious retailers did not want anyone’s names connected to their stores, therefore they bought them in unsigned.
