For your consideration is a wonderful rare set of authentic Art Deco FRANKART Nude Bookends, No. New York, New York, produced a variety of nude lady lamps, bookends, ashtrays, and other decorative Art Deco items in the 1920s and 1930s. This set depicts a sultry nude young lady who appears to be posing while resting on a giant book. They are properly signed. And can be seen in the 1930-31 FRANKART handbook. 10″ tall by 3½” at widest and have good weight at around 4 lbs. The Nile green paint appears to be the original finish though one shows a little tone difference at frontside bottom of book? Bottoms are felt covered which appears to be original.
