ART DECO MARBLE BOOKENDS, Geometric Sculpture. Offered for sale is a geometric sculptural work made of marble. The bookends together form a semicircle, with two parallel lines following the curve. The marble is exceptional. It consists of variations of bright golden tans to paler tones of white. The immense depth of exposure of the stone’s light intensifies the quality of this work. The final photos show the damage to two corners of the lighter piece. The third corner of this piece has a natural crystaline type of imperfection.
