Hindu dancer by J. Hirsch Set (2) bookends of very rare bookends. Of a Hindu Dancer bookend. These are super rare! There on the same matching original marble bases. It looks to have a small ding in the edge of the base. This came out of a large collection from Hollywood Ca. Art Deco JB HIRSCH/ CHIPARUS designed. Very Nice, good vintage condition. Some rust on the bottom bolts/ nuts. A few paint chips, flaws. Faces, hands and stomach are. Celluloid/ resin (is what the book says, I think it’s celluloid). Both faces are in extra fine condition! One of the stomachs has a hairline (see Photos). These are finished Beautiful White Metal and bronze! They each have a hand off and need to be repaired. Both hands are taped to the arm and one has the tip of a finger chipped. It doesn’t take away from the beauty and. “SEE SELLERS OTHER ITEMS”.
