Antique Art Deco Style Cast Iron Native American Chief Sliding Book Rack. Just a lovely piece this cast iron bust of a Native American Chief with white feather headdress. The book rack has an art deco flair to it and will look amazing on an open desk or in your bookcase holding your favorite novels. The piece is made of cast iron end panels with brass sliding bars attaching the end panels together. The sliding bar will expand the book rack from 11″ inside to 21″ inside dimension. Marked, 789 on backside of end panels. Measures, 12″ to 22″ wide. 5½” tall, 6½” in depth. Condition, very good, has some paint loose on end panels, as shown in pictures.
