Offered here is a rare set of bronze patinated bookends by AMW – Art Metal Works – an affiliate of Ronson. These bookends were inspired by Austrian sculptor Josef Lorenzl. They are stamped Art Metal Works and dated 1937 on the base behind the women – see photos. The patina is outstanding. A couple of slightly lighter spots due to rubbing from use as bookends. These are elegant in their simplicity, and the construction is outstanding. You are not going to find a set in better condition. See photos for detail.
